DIY: Lip-Gloss..
Well, well… Thanks to my Sheer, this topic came to mind. =] She is one addict to lip gloss. Let me tell you, she takes more than 5 minutes to perfect her gloss on her sexylicious lips. Ourgh! Those close enough to her, you'll understand what I'm talking bout. The time spent waiting for her to get done in the ladies can kill! Well, she isn't the only one. Most of my girlfriends have this love for lip gloss. So do I. I'm a teen and I know its hard to buy our own cosmetics sometimes. Don't worry now.. I can save you $10 each/every two months!! Make your own lip gloss girls! You'll need a microwave to do this.. Well here's what you need..
• Vaseline Lip Care [get the medium bottle or large if you want to make more]
• Vitamin E or Fruity Based Oil/Cream
• Used lipstick; the colour of your choice.[ if you want a clear gloss, you won't need this]
• Glitter
• Your favorite perfume scent
There you have it! Please remember to use plastic utensils. Washing away Vaseline is a torture! Trust me. Ok, here are the steps.
1. Scoop off the Vaseline lip care and put it in a plastic bowl. Place it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Do not over heat. Blowing up Vaseline is another torture. Its HARD TO CLEAN OFF!!
2. After 20 seconds, take out the melted Vaseline. Cut a portion of your lipstick using a plastic knife and (if you want clear gloss, skip this) add in 2 teaspoons(again make sure its plastic) of Vitamin E or Fruity Based Oil/Cream. Mix it using plastic spoon.
3. Add in the glitter as much as you want. But not too many because than you'll have glittery lips instead of glossy! Mix again.
4. Then, when the mixture is thick once again, give a spray of your favorite scent to your lip gloss to give it a nice smell.
5. Place this mixture in a nice little lip gloss holder, and place it in your refrigerator over-night.
6. Take it out the next day and there you have your very own made lip gloss!!
You can even make this and give it to your girlfriends as presents or door gifts for your all girl party! Enjoy!
